So far this fall, there are two types of outfits you'll find me in. Dresses with booties, or skinnies paired with booties. I'm not sure what it is about this particular look/silhouette but I'm kind of crazy about it. I have several booties on my wishlist, most of which are very budget friendly (we're trying to get pregnant and saving for a bigger home), so yes, budget friendly it is... I'm loving these & these. Fall, let's take a moment to discuss this topic, yeah?! We've been buried in rain, rain and more rain. I'm dreaming of apple orchards, golden hour, and long fall walks with my honey. But, the west coast has different plans for us. I'm trying to be a champ and find other lovely ways to enjoy these grey & cold days. Haha, so far? I got nothin, but I'm working on it! ;)
On a completely different note, I've just started uploading my photos to Flickr... they're uploading a little slow for me. Is that the case for you guys? Let me know, I'd hate to switch over if it's making the blog slow! xo

ReplyDeleteThe booties/skirts combination is a fall staple for me. I just wish we were getting more chances to wear it with bare legs this season - rain, rain go away, right! Speaking of booties, I'd love to see your budget-friendly wishlist... my favourite cheap and cheerful booties bit the dust this weekend during the rain storm {I got to hobble home minus one heel!} so I'm in the market for a new pair. Or two! The pair you're wearing looks just lovely :) Speaking of lovely, I love your idea for a dinner in the city in late October. I've heard that The Parker is doing great gluten-free and vegetarian things, maybe that would be a good place to try out! I'll send you an email :)

aw that sounds just like british autumns..no fun tell ya, apart from movies whilst snuggled under blankets drinking big hot chocolates :-) Im so with you on the whole booties/dress front.. its practically my uniform of late, im gathering quite the collection of booties heehee!
