what i wore

Oct 28, 2013

Oh my goodness, pardon the skirt wrinkles. I guess that's what happens when you spend most of your day in the car running errands and taking meetings. For this fall, I've started feeling a slight shift in my personal style as well as a general resurgence of my love for fashion, which is definitley alright with me. As for my look, I loved adding a pop of colour with this fun skirt from Cori Lynn... I wore it again the next day with my favourite Old Navy sweater & booties.

Also, I just did some much needed housekeeping on the blog. I added a fun about me page, press page, and a curated shop section. My favourite! Now (if you're so inclined) you can shop my weekly hand picked wardrobe + beauty items. I keep the selection very price-conscious, except for the odd item or two, because a girl has to splurge once in a while, right?!... ;)

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Denim Jacket (similar), H&M // Black Sweater (similar), Club Monaco // Statement Necklace, Jeweliq // Bag, Banana Republic // Skirt, c/o Cori Lynn // Tights (similar), Joe Fresh // Heels (similar), Aldo Shoes

25 sweet notes:

And as for shifting style, I think it's a natural process... but I do definitely notice changes more since I have a blog and am constantly thinking about my wardrobe. Whatever direction you're headed, I think you are looking stunning as always. The colour of this skirt is just perfect for fall and gives your outfit such a lovely pop. 16. Haha, I don't think I ever arrive anywhere unwrinkled unless I'm wearing a non-wrinkle fabric! This is such a cute look, though! I wouldn't have noticed the wrinkles at all. That skirt is a GORGEOUS color, and so, so perfect for fall!
I love that you have a curated shop page now! What a great way to share your fashion picks. (And also, good way for family to know what you want for birthdays and Christmas!)
