These days there are two words I'd use to describe my personal style. Simple & lazy! ;) Lazy, because I've been favouring the same looks and either swapping out my accessories or adding a different layer - and that is just a-ok by me. I'm also loving my chevron bag for the summer, it's from my shop and available in beige or a gorgeous blue. Perfect with simple outfits for a fun pop of pattern + it fits my 15" MacBook perfectly. Fab, right?! Yes, looking cute at my local coffee shop is top priority around here!
shop the look:
Denim Jacket: H&M (similar)
Maxi Dress: Old Navy
Necklace: c/o Belle Hibou
Bag: my shop + on sale
Shoes: Zara (get em' here)
oh i love a simple maxi! so chic

I feel the same way! If I haven't been in shorts and a t shirt working on the new house, I am wearing the same things over and over; all simple pieces that are comfortable and I know work. No thinking involved. Isn't that what Summer is supposed to be all about?
ReplyDeleteLove this look on you. Simple and perfect :)

LOL I find in the summer I have a few favorite looks that I probably wear over and over. But nothing wrong with that I think .. means I made a great purchase decision ;)
ReplyDeleteLoving the maxi. You know, I don't own one. I am seriously in dire need of it though. Some days I just want to throw one on and head out the door. Hopefully soon! Also, your long pretty locks make me wish I didn't cut my hair short haha. I've already decided I am growing mine out :P

I'm feeling the same way about my outfits- I just keep gravitating towards the same three dresses and rompers. Why do I have a closet full of clothes if I dont use them?! It's like a kid with a chest of toys and only plays with a spoon -__-

ReplyDeleteWell hello, beautiful!! :) I TOTALLY agree with you, dearest Veronika...you gotta look cute when you're out-and-about, because you never know whom you might meet!! Loving this chevron bag next to your all-black maxidress; I'm still looking for a really great beach bag (now that summer's finally here!)...is this one washable, by any chance?! XO

This is such a great outfit! That bag is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you with "simple and lazy" - I've been swapping out the same black bike shorts or leggings with oversized tees and cardigans. Or the same tee and shorts a few days in a row. Sssh :)
ReplyDeleteLooking fab though! Love that bag.

Lauren, yes, you need to nab a maxi dress for sure. I love it for exactly that reason, grab & go + you always feel put together. And thank you for the hair compliments. I cut mine into a long bob last year, but definitley am excited to be growing it out again. Happiest Friday, girl! xoxo
