Jacket - H&M (similar)
Skirt - Old Navy
Bracelets - Stella & Dot
Tote Bag - Stella & Dot
Shoes - Zara

When I switched over to the new blog, I wasn't sure if I would be keeping outfit posts or not. Gone are the days of scoping out perfect locations, waiting for magic hour and taking a million photos. Unfortunately, because of my busy schedule, it's just not possible anymore. However, at the end of the day, it's all about making your blog work for you. So, I've decided to continue on with my outfit posts, keep them super simple and focus on more laid-back/everyday looks. Easy and done!

And speaking of easy, my favourite no brainer outfit these days is pairing my denim jacket with easy black basics. It's a great way to break up an all black outfit and give a more relaxed feel to what could potentially be a more dressed up look. And yup, no tights! Three weeks and going strong - it's been fabulously warm out.

  7. You can never go wrong with black and denim - and I should know, since I wear them every day ;) Although I can't imagine life without time spend on location hunting and photography, you're totally right, it's all about making the blog work for you... and I think you're doing a fabulous job with what works. No one ever said that getting dressed had to be complicated, or that you have to be dressed up to look well put together. And if they did, they were wrong :) I love that you're sharing these glimpses of your everyday style, V! And I adore adore your tote!

  8. This is such a great look on you! I too am a big fan of pairing denim and black - casual and classic.

I've never been a frequent outfit poster for the same reason. The reality is that now that I've moved my office and studio into my house, I'm usually found wearing yoga pants and a tee, and scrambling all day to run two businesses. It's hard to find the time to get dressed up, much less document it in photos. I love your new blog format and look forward to seeing more!

  9. I like the realistic outfit posts better anyways! Its nice to see what real women wear all day, not just during the hour before the sun sets ;) I really love your new blog space Veronika, so glad you decided to keep writing!!

  10. Thanks for letting us know you "moved". And I'm all for the every day looks! I'm a "fashion" blogger but still I think it is better posting things people will actually be able to repurchase or wear!

  12. Love it! Simple and chic. I already own a denim jacket, but your last outfit post is inspiring me to buy a white blazer... it's sitting in my Gap shopping cart, hah. Also, "Darlin'" is like, my new de-stressing song now. So glad to have discovered it here!
