My brain is a little creaky on this fine Tuesday morning. But regardless, I wanted to pop in and share some photos from this past weekend. I meet up with Cee of "Coco and Vera" and Lynn of "Hearted Girl" for an afternoon of Stella & Dot jewelry, sparkling refreshments, and cream puffs. I adore both these ladies and feel sooooo lucky to call them the dearest of friends. We gabbed for hours, and of course, fawned over all the pretty jewelery too. I was definitley in good company! ;)
I wore my new Forever 21 dress for the occasion. I've been adding bits of leopard here & there to my fall wardrobe and absolutely loving the print (outfit post, coming soon). It's the perfect print for adding a bit of fun to an everyday look but still looks very timeless. Perfect for building a more classic wardrobe, which is something I'm trying to do!
PS - That cutie pie doggy in the photos is Coco. I was doggy sitting for my girlfriend all last week. Sigh, it was not easy giving her back!
I love this (is it weird that I feel like I personally know Cee and am super stoked she's back in Canada because now maybe I can meet you both on my next trip to Van??).

Aw, I love this post! It was so fabulous to catch up with you lovely ladies - I miss Paris so much but it's the wonderful people here in Vancouver that are making this transition much easier :) I had such a lovely afternoon and I can't wait to do it again soon. Maybe over dinner this time? Hopefully by then we'll all have mastered the instagram selfie technique and can get a shot of all of our feet (and Stella&Dot bracelets) together ;)

awe V, this post brings the biggest burst of happiness into my heart! spending time with you two girls was just what i needed to fill up the friendship bucket :) gazing over all the jewelry you brought gave me the accessory tingles and i bet Cee's new piece will be an outstanding addition to her repertoire!! wasn't it amazing to see our Parisian gal after such a long time apart?! gosh, it was really like no moments had passed though and we picked up right where we left off. that's the testament to true friendship. you ladies are so dear to me!!

Aw, looks like you girls had so much fun! It's enough to make me wish I lived in your hemisphere. Sigh, and Vancouver is so pretty, too! And what a cutie little Coco is.
ReplyDeleteAnd way to go, jumping on the leopard bandwagon! I used to think only fifty+ women wore leopard, but now I'm all for it. There's something about how a pair of leopard-print shoes just make an outfit pop! I even own a pair of leopard jeggings, but no leopard dress. Yet.;)
Yay for good times with girlfriends! You all look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that dress is beautiful and I love that first photo of you and Coco, the dog! Wish I could have been there! I follow Coco and Vera, she's beautiful. P.S. I fully support leopard print in your fall wardrobe ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, Cee is such a beauty and a total sweetheart. I'm trying to convince her to come to Austin with me next year!! Hehe, glad you approve of the leopard - I've bought a ton of it!! xo
