spring's in the air

Hello. If you didn't get a chance to see the new blog re-design yesterday, welcome! I'm definitley in a spring state of mind + I'm a sucker for fresh starts and new inspiration... it's what keeps me inspired and feeling like I'm moving forward on my creative path. I'm thinking the motivator for all this is the amazing sun we've been getting! It's putting extra pep in my step and has me busy planning fun weekend adventures. We're hoping to get away to a snowy resort, visit one of our nearby islands and do a few day hikes this Feb & March. Bliss!

When it comes to my outfits these days, I've been craving extra comfy and cozy looks. I'm definitley one to go through phases with fashion. Some weeks all I want to wear is heels and look super polished, and then other times, I want to be as laid back as possible. Currently, I'm going through a bit of a boho movement and it's suiting me just fine. On this particular day (this past Sunday) we headed down to the ocean and spent the better part of our afternoon chasing our dog Scout and enjoyed a fab lunch. This was definitley the perfect outfit!

I didn't get a chance to say it before, but I love the blog redesign! So pretty! I'm very jealous of your spring-like weather. I always skew a little boho once the warmth finally returns, it's so comfy after all the layers and bulk of winter!

definitely getting the spring vibe from this look. and i have to say, seeing the green in the background of your photos is just what i needed to get me through this cold day {it is negative 40 degrees with windchill here right now!}

There's that cute top! And that necklace is precious. I know what you mean about cozy outfits. I've been craving them lately, too, but that's probably because it's been so chilly in Seattle. I've been needing to spice up my blog design, too. Love your floral graphics. So cute!

Two things struck me right away when I saw these photos - first, that they could have been taken in April, because how gorgeous is the sunshine and bright light?! And second, that your top seems to be perfectly coordinated with your new blog design. And that, my friend, is taking things to the next level :) And how sweet is your necklace? I tell you, if it weren't for my trying to keep my spending habits under control until we go to Paris, I would be buying up everything in that shop of yours ;)

that's the exact vibe i got when i first saw this darling look pop up on IG. Spring thoughts and inspiring glow. yah!!! might have to nix my shopping embargo...i LOVE that floral blouse so much. tempting me yet again F21 - gaaaa!

um, goodbye Van city sunshine...you are wonderful, please come back again soon. right? gosh, we've had a quick change overnight but i'm hoping for a reappearance soon. i know you are too, def gives us all some extra endurance through the work week. keep bringing on the boho essence lovie, it really suits you and i dig it a big bunch! xo

What a beautiful outfit, Veronika! I am so happy that winter here on the west coast has been fairly mild and dry!
I can totally relate to your 'phases with fashion.' Because it's still been a tad bit cold out, I've been leaning toward more cozy, comfortable outfits, but after seeing the beautiful colours you're wearing here, I'm feeling inspired to incorporate some of my spring clothes into the mix!

I absolutely love your bag! I've been wanting a coral purse, and this just makes me want one even more. The coral paired with the floral top is so feminine.
