These days, when it comes to personal style, I'm less & less interested in re-inventing the wheel, but rather, interested in creating an easy/wearable wardrobe. Coincidentally, I bought Lauren Conrad's Style Book this past weekend, and I'm eager to expand on a great basics wardrobe for spring. When I step back and look at my outfits, it's definitley items like the above jacket that I reach for time & time again. I've worn it with skinnies & a long slouchy tank, or with a simple cashmere pullover + black skirt. Easy, peasy!
This week, I'm excitedly heading into the city for a fun spring fashion preview and I'll be sharing photos with you guys later this week. Cupcakes, cocktails, and pretty dresses... here I come! Last but certainly not least, a big thank you to Anjolee for sending me the prettiest anniversary ring. Their amazing customer service and wonderful attention to detail left a lasting impression! xo

I am actually wearing nearly the exact same outfit! Switch out your lovely dress for a blue and white striped dress and we would be twins today! An army green jacket is so versatile!
ReplyDeleteWhat great F21 finds!
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd be able to pull off the military jacket vibe, but this looks so achievable!

I've been really trying lately to build my closet around a few core pieces - the ones I always reach for. It's a good strategy!

ReplyDeleteLove the outfit lady! And soooo jealous of that gorgeous moss in the background! Moss rarely shows up around here, but when I'm hiking and I see it in the woods, I just can't get enough.

This is a very sweet outfit Veronika. I adore the olive jacket, and have been wanting one for myself. Unfortunately, I'm on a tight budget and haven't yet found one in a store that I truly liked. I've also been working on creating a more basic wardrobe, and feel like I've almost completed my must-have list :) xo
ReplyDeleteooo that green color is super neat!!!

i'm a forever forever21 girl!!!! well, at least for as long as they allow me through the doors and before i start carrying a cane. haha! such a pretty notion here, bohemian swag makes my eyes sparkle extra bright and this provides ample amounts of that happenstance. plus a bit of extra bling by way of your new ring, it's divine as can be!!
ReplyDeleteps: LOVE eyes all over your new blog format/aesthetic, it's a marvelous development lovie. bravo!!! xo ♥
I love that chic yet effortless everyday look! The green coat is really amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love this so much! Black, white, cognac, and olive! I will have to remember that combo for sure! The boots really ground the outfit! Well done!

I so know what you mean about this, V - I feel like when we all started blogging (gosh, it seems like so long ago now!) it was all about who could put together the most unusual outfit and pull it off. These days, things have changed and I have to admit, I think it's for the better. It's so refreshing to see easy everyday outfits, especially when this look this good. That dress is sure a stunner!
