Daily Wears | Mixed Patterns

Sep 22, 2014

After swearing off outfit posts... have ya noticed I'm back to outfit posts? Proof that all good things can be solved with a good old fashioned rant (you might remember my post from a few months back)! In any case, the one thing I've come to learn about blogging, is that like life, our appetite for things comes in waves. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't! And that, my friends, is totally okay! In fact, for my next "Beautiful Life" series I'll be posting on how to maintain your blogging mojo. Can't wait to share all I've learned over the last four years!

Blazer: XO Veronika (my shop), Tee: Banana Republic (similar), Necklace & Bracelet (Stella & Dot), Jeans: Zara (similar), Shoes: Zara (similar)

Outfit wise? I love this mixed pattern ensemble. I wore it again for a night out with my honey, but added a scarf. You can take a peek here! And... I can't wait to share more outfits soon. Now that my hubby is back at work, well naturally, I've been celebrating with a bit of shopping! ;)

32 sweet notes:

  1. absolutely love this look veronika! the embroidered blazer + striped tee + necklace are just perfect together. looking forward to reading your 'blogging mojo' post. happy monday dear!!

  7. I remember that rant! And I'm very much looking forward to seeing that post on blogging mojo- I definitely have weeks where I just want to scrap the whole thing. I think I get burnt out if I focus too much on actual outfit photos. They don't really give you as much room to be creative as the other series posts, which is probably why I turn sluggish after focusing too much on them. So I feel ya! And yaaay, celebratory shopping trips ;)

  14. I'm quite happy to see your adorable outfit updates too!

But yes, it's funny how that works out, isn't it? Since breaking up my outfit posts with different types of posts have helped offset the weariness that can occur when you're constantly blogging your outfits. Variety is the spice of life! Just as applicable to blogging as it is with food ;)

Anyway, sweet print mixing, I really love those studded flats too...it makes me want to go shoe shopping (because that's OBVIOUSLY what I need...more shoes!).
