Perhaps it's the Canadian girl in me... but I love pairing a parka with a pretty lace dress. When it comes to personal style, I definitley have a thing for pairing the unexpected! Like, a pretty statement necklace with Martin's over-sized sweater + rolled up jeans, or a floaty maxi dress with a shrunken plaid shirt. So much fun! What are your favourite and unexpected pairings? And speaking of personal style... for this fall & winter it's my goal to do a little bit more style blogging on "By The Shore!" Hope you guys don't mind! ;) I have several outfits I'm excited to share and I've kind of been bit by the personal style bug. So yup, I'm just going with it!

Lovely outfit, i love pairing unexpected pieces of wardrobe too and the statement necklace with large comfy sweater and rolled up jeans is definitely a must (allow a gal to get comfy and chic at the same time, love it!). Never heard of Like to know but i'll like into it that sound interesting! Thanks lovey!

cute parka! i was just looking at some similar ones at the rack and thinking how great it'd be to have some more coat coverage past my hips. :)

ReplyDeleteAw yay, happy to help!! ;) I'm a sucker for lace this time of year... love pairing it with chunky knits... totally rustic & cute!! Hope you're having a fab day, loves!! xo
ReplyDeleteYes, the longer length is a life saver!! Such a great way to keep warm & extra cozy!! I'm hoping to nab one more in black... have been living in my new coat!! xo
ReplyDeleteOh V, this look really couldn't be anymore Canadian - too cute! Personally, I've never been able to get on board with parkas or snowboots, no matter how cold it gets. (And yes, I mean even in Winnipeg!) I see them look cute on so many other people but when I wear them, I just feel strange. Seems so silly to say it, but it's true. So looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Bring on the outfit posts, dearest Veronika...they are my absolute favourite!! You look cute as a button in this lacy dress and parka combo; adding tights and a cozy topper to our summer frocks takes them so nicely into the colder months, doesn't it?? XOXO
