Although, I'm nice & cozy here, and in all black... don't let that fool ya! Our temps are getting blissfully warm and our cherry blossoms have been in bloom for the past few weeks. I've even had the chance to break out my sandals. This is quality stuff, people! Sandals, dresses and the promise of BBQ weather makes me ridiculously happy. As for today's look? I wore it to see a play with Martin and loved it. I adore pairing browns and blacks together. And last but not least, beanies? Yup still going strong over here! ;)

Other than that? As I mentioned on Friday, we're off to do a walk-through of our new place this week. Yay, yay!! And then, we move alarmingly soon! The countdown is on... xo

I love this - you know I'm all aboard for an all black outfit. And I can't believe you've already worn sandals!

  5. This is such a great example of how an outfit can be all neutrals but still so interesting! I love the details you've got going on here. And yay for spring coming! :)

  6. I love the beanie and wish my hair was long enough for it (I also meant to comment on your post a while back discussing your wig- I think that's awesome and legit before I saw that video thought you had just lightened your hair!).

    Good luck with the move!

  7. Black on black with just a hint of brown? My fave! Especially on gals with fabulous blonde locks like yours - I think these photos have officially convinced me that I need a wig in my life, because black on black looks so much lovelier with light hair, as you're clearly proving. I may also need to add a beanie to my wardrobe. I thought I had one but when I went to break it out after our last get together, I couldn't find it. And life without a beanie is just not an option!

  9. Cee, oh my gosh, YES!! I'm noticing I love wearing all black when I have lighter locks. I'm tempted to lighten my hair for the summer, but we'll see, in the meantime I have a fun wig to play with! And I'm gonna have to second that, no beanie?! Definitely not an option!! ;)

  10. Aw, thanks Nina! I'm having so much fun wearing the wig. Hello, instantly styled hair + I just picked up some super long hair extensions too. Why not, right?! Hair is such a fun accessory to play with. Hope you're having a fab week!! xo

  15. Cutie! Love how your boots pop against all that luscious black. You just rock those neutrals so effortlessly! My new job requires me to dress more neutral, so I'm taking inspiration from you!
And good luck with your move - these things are never stress free!

  16. How exciting is it that spring is coming?! After this brutal winter I basically want to do a cartwheel every time the weather report says it'll be 50 degrees out. Woot! And you look so cute and polished with your all black ensemble. I haven't seen you in such an all-black look before, so it's fun to see this other side to your style. And woot, good luck with the move!!

  20. Love the look. Wish I could score those booties, but I'm guessing
they're older; I love the cognac colour. And wherever did you buy
    your bracelet? It's lovely!

  21. Sara, oh my gosh! Sorry for the late response... somehow I thought I'd already responded to your comment. Whoops! ;) As for the booties? Yes, bought them last year for fall and the bracelet is Stella & Dot, but that particular style is all sold out! xo

This outfit looks so comfortable. I would love something like this to wear to class, sitting in jeans for long periods of time isn't always comfortable. Love the boots.
