A few months back I did a quick iphone tour of our home. However, I thought it be fun to do a more detailed tour and break it up by room. Over the next few weeks, I'll be doing just that! I thought it only fitting to start off with our patio since it's still warm & lovely out. Admittedly, it's not the easiest space to take photos of because it's pretty tiny! But, we love it all the same... we BBQ out there, have a view of birch trees & evergreen mountains, plus most importantly we can watch the sunset!
Voila, the end. Quickest little patio post ever - right? As for our items... our side table, patio table + chairs and pillow are all from Ikea. Next year, I'm hoping to add a few hanging lanterns and a chevron sisal rug. I love a good homey patio! xo

Adorable! Our patio is still full of boxes, but I'm excited to do something with the small space. Just having a little outdoor area is nice, even if it is small!

I love it! I currently have a tiny apartment balcony, and I never went out there because I never got around to styling it! But now my roommates and I are moving into a house that has a good sized patio, and I'm super stoked to decorate it! :)

I love getting to see this virtual tour of your space, V - even though of course I know what it looks like in real life, too, seeing the photos is so charming :) We're currently doing some small improvements around our space. Ian was painting today and we have plans to add/move around a few pieces of furniture in the coming months. Hoping eventually we'll have our space in a place where I can share it on my blog, too! One day ;)

One of the best things about summer is the chance to spend quality time out on your patio or balcony, dearest Veronika!! It's amazing how comfy even the smallest space can be when it's done right...and you've certainly done it right!! Love that embroidered pillow for a pop of colour and pattern (isn't Ikea the best?!) XOXO

When I grow up, I want a patio too! But really, who doesn't? Yours looks so cosy and perfect to sip some coffee in the morning or read a book in the evening. I love how you've decorated it! xo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty darling, definitely a comfortable spot for an afternoon gathering with a cuppa! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard time decorating our patio space for some reason, but I love how simple you've made yours. A friend of mine also puts potted plants in baskets, and it's so adorable. Never thought of it until now!! Darling.
