Hello, hope my fellow Canadians enjoyed a fabulous Thanksgiving!! We sure did. Saturday, we hosted a wonderful dinner at our home, and the following day we went to Martin's parents house for Thanksgiving dinner. Yummy food and three days off was the perfect antidote to a stressful week... poor Martin was in a car accident on Wednesday (he's fine) but it's been a stressful one none the less.
As for my outfit? This is what I wore when we visited with friends last week in White Rock for a little lunch & dessert action. This cream skirt is definitley one of my most worn items and I love how easily it lends itself to different looks plus moods. Effortless and always polished. I suspect it'll be making a few more appearances this season. Happiest of Tuesdays, friends! ;)
Elegant simplicity. <3 You look flawless, my love. Gorgeous outfit.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have a lovely weekend, aside from the car accident! I hope everything is okay! Your skirt is absolutely lovely.

Happy Thanksgiving, V! I'm glad to hear Martin is okay - car accidents re never any fun, especially so close to a holiday. And I must say, I am loving the way you styled my scarf... again! It's funny, I had't been wearing it very often (the fact that it was summer probably didn't help) but seeing you style it has given me so much new inspiration, I can't wait to start wearing it again next month!

Happy Thanksgiving! Love how wearable is the skirt, it makes instantly chic a look. Those type of pieces are excellent to have in a wardrobe, good score :) Glad that Martin is fine, car accidents are scary.
ReplyDeleteah yes...that skirt! i'm so glad you've gotten a lot of wear out of it! sounds like you had a nice thanksgiving celebration...such a wonderful time of year! i'm sorry to hear that martin was in an accident, but relieved that he's okay. :)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so elegant! You always look so polished and put together, and I love that! I'm so glad you had a good Canadian Thanksgiving! I can't wait for the American one; Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a pretty skirt. It's strange how a few years ago I thought pleated skirts were so old fashioned and I'd never wear one. I remember one that used to be my grandma's that I passed up and wish I had now.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the skirt. I've never tried the pleated skirts yet but have loved seeing them. Might have to find one that fits me! :) You've got me all inspired now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skirt. I wish I could wear a pleated skirt without looking like a balloon.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love that skirt, and the printed scarf :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think it depends on the fit. I really lucked out with this one... because yes, I've tried many that gave me the "balloon look" as well! xo
ReplyDeletei don't own a cream skirt..cream color is hard to match as in my opinion.but you did perfectly on this post.and i got the idea on how to pair too..love your pairing with leopard print scarf!!
